Had a wonderful experience staying at AstaGiri for a 3 day package. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. You can find the required privacy staying in these rooms. The next good thing and the best part is the food. all 3 days, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the restaurant staff including the executive chef are so caring about the guests. My kid had made friends with restaurant staffs within 3 days and special thanks to Prem there. The food is exceptionally well made and served with great spirit. Overall had a great stay beyond my expectation. Thanks to the manager Nithin for taking care of everything we needed there. I am sure to visit the place again some time soon. This is the second time I visited the homestay with my family.I had stayed last year as well and I can say the service and hospitality has been consistently excellent. Nithin - who is the caretaker of the property and has great cooking skills deserves special mention.He is always smiling and ready to assist you with any help you need for a comfortable stay.The authentic meal spread will ensure it satiates your taste buds and stomach as well. The location of the property is off-beat. A little away from the town-centre, among the coffee estate where minimal vehicles ply. The property truly has an old-world charm with the flooring, ceiling and furniture reminding you of yesteryear times.If you are looking for a place to unwind during the weekend away from the maddening city life, this is the place you must stay in!! ~ Rushikanth S

Nice place to visit with family n friends. Place is very peaceful with full of greenary surrounded by. We can cover few scenic spots, devarmanne is 8kms far. You will enjoy the sunset. Suggest to visit ethina buja those who are interested for small trek and sunrise its 18 kms only. They will provide food also with affordable price. They have few outdoor & indoor activities like badminton, rope way, carroms.. From Management side usha is very helpful n friendly Only one suggestion for travellers is try to reach the stay before 6-7pm. After 7 pm its somewhat confusion to reach because of oneway... Stayed with family for 2days and 2 nights here. It's located hardly 10kms from devaramane! Amazing place with amazing people and the best views. - Ushaka who is a host there make you feel it just like an other home. - Amazing food with high quality and taste. - Nice ambiance in and around the homestay. - They provide you everything you need and ask for with so much of love. - Godru is another best person I had ever met. - The nearby waterfall, estate walk, amazing people, amazing views with amazing food, made our trip bright and calm. - I recommend this for the pleasent stay and peaceful experience. ~ Vasanth K

Borrbo Nests homestay near Chikmagalur is a hidden gem! The coffee they serve is their own brew and it was delicious. The homemade wine, especially the chilly wine, was a highlight of this stay. The homestay is very near to Devaramane Betta and Ethina Bhuja, making it a great location to explore the area. The atmosphere at the homestay is very calm and relaxing, and the mud games were a fun activity. The food was fantastic and it was a treat to have the host, Usha, cook for us. She was very welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! ~ Aj

Resort was very good and we are enjoyed every bit of it. Especially food what they served in the resort, it was very tasty. Also people who all are taking care of us in resort was vey humble and talking very friendly and also guiding us nicely. Some minor things we are unhappy in th resort is Inverter was not there for power cut. Also kindly add one speaker in the resort and some lights to garden.. So people coming in groups can enjoy it. Loved the stay.. it's so beautiful and serene and perfect for couples and families. They serve delicious food, well cooked in clean premises. The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. More than a guest, we were treated as their own family members, took the utmost care till the moment we stepped out. The property is located in the middle of a coffee plantation. The whole experience was mesmerizing for my entire family. We enjoyed the peaceful stay and this place will ever stay in our memory. ~ Rakesh C

We went here as a team if 12 members and got one full villa for us, really clean and hygiene rooms, clean bathrooms, Breathe taking veiw with coffee estate and we enjoyed med volleyball sorrounded by hills and coffes estate , similar to Kantara fight, Owner Usha madam, really rook care of us so well, time to time she and checked what we need and they carted I recommend this place for teams and family But carry cash, not internet facility so pay in cash which helps them ~ John N

We went there with family... Enjoyed alot. Food is really delicious 😋 they care for us a lot.... V reached d place at eve 4.30, they served us with chapati n curry(only snacks included,but they served us with food)...itenary includes only snacks,dinner n next day breakfast.... if v want, they serve lunch on next day also with a tariff of approx 100/- per head ...it's also depends on number of varieties they serve... I stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. It was really a awesome experience. The view around this home stay is really good. They provide unlimited food(veg and non veg) with many varieties, which tastes good. We paid around 1700(per head) after bargaining. Activities that I liked... 1. Mud volley ball 2. Estate walk 3. River walk 4. Waterfalls visit (lots of leaches during rainy season) 5. Devaramane betta and temple visit 6. Yettinabhuja trekking ~ MANOJ K

Finally we planned a trip to Chikmagalur. But we have only issue with stay. Due to Covid situation i have some doubts in mind. Is staying outside is good. But AstaGiri by Borrbo is so good. That ambience, Owner's care is too good. Food is nice, Owners keeps our health in mind. serves warm water. Food Price also reasonable. Finally Happy with tour because of nice home stay. One of the best place to stay with beautiful scenic surroundings. The stay is located in the middle of a coffee plantation. We got the entire villa, which was clean and hygienic. An unforgettable Homestay surrounded by Coffee plantations in hillstation. Thought it’s a Homestay but believe me it’s not less than a Resort. The place is surrounded by deep coffee plantations. Proper road is available to this property. Google map helps us to take to the Homestay from Bangalore without any issues. Please note, Airtel and BSNL network will work only. Once we reached to the Homestay we were so charmed to see the beauty of the location and the Property. It was so well maintained that you don’t need to go outside at all. Mr Nithin, the owner, greeted us wonderfully and guided us thought out the day and took good care of us. As we went there in a group of 12 members, we booked all 4 rooms. All the rooms will give you Resort feelings, they didn’t provide toiletries but almost all the rooms has attached bathroom. 24 hours hot water was available. They gave us homemade wine as complimentary. They have many indoor game options available ( carom, badminton, cricket, mud volleyball, mud kabadi, tug of war, etc). They have a very big space within the building territory where you can play games, park your car, do morning walk etc. They will take to for a coffee estate walk though. They have arranged Bon fire at night. ~ Avinash K

Food is so tasty that you end up eating double your normal diet. Location is so picturesque you don't have to venture outside. All in all a wonderful trip . Large property coffee plantation spread over acres. Most peaceful place ever. Staffs do an awesome job of understanding you and resolving all your needs. ~ Nithin S
